Jill AND Mary

Jillian Norel Hennessy (born on November 25 on the 25th of November, 1968) is a Canadian artist, actress and vocalist who had a major impact in American television. Her work has received praise for her exceptional performances on the American television show Law & Order in which she played Claire Kincaid as a prosecutor for three seasons, and Crossing Jordan, wherein she played Jordan Cavanaugh the main character for six seasons. Hennessy showed her talent in films that were independent, like Chutney Popcorn or The Acting Class. Hennessy started her acting career in 1988along with her sister in the role of twin call girls in Dead Ringers. In 1990, she briefly appeared on Broadway as Buddy: The Buddy Holly Story. Then, she moved to sci-fi, and portrayed Dr. Marie Lazarus (RoboCop 3) in 1993. In the same year, she became assistant district attorney Claire Kincaid in the hit NBC Crime Drama Law & Order. She received an award for her performance in the series a Golden Globe Award for Best actress and also an Emmy Award. Parker was awarded her 2001 Tony Award as Best Actress at the Broadway production Proof.
